Paid Internship Opportunities: 2 Roles
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for two interns to join our team from June 2024 to December 2024 (duration: 5-6 months). The candidates must be dynamic, presentable, reliable, and energetic, with a passion for hospitality. True “do-ers”, are able to think on the spot and provide solutions that adhere to our values and mission. This is your opportunity to begin your career in luxury hospitality, shadowing our customer service managers and gaining practical experience. You will be welcomed into a friendly, international team based on Marbella’s Golden Mile.
What we expect from our Interns:
- To quickly adapt to the team,
- To shadow our Client Services Managers (CSM) in their daily tasks
- To contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out
- To greet guests warmly; consistently demonstrate high levels of customer service
- To assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- To handle guest complaints with interest, concern and empathy
- To provide a high level of customer service
- To assist our concierge team booking restaurants and with other enquiries
- To ensure inventory is maintained and well-documented in all properties
- To purchase fruits, champagne and other welcome presents
- To liaise with the laundry to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries
- To report to the maintenance team in the event of technical issues
- To maintain personal hygiene and a professional appearance while on duty
- To help organize the cleaning service schedule according to the occupancy rate.
The perfect candidate will be:
- An energetic and dynamic team player with a true passion for hospitality
- A strong and organized administrator able to follow processes and contribute to their improvements
- Someone with a strong eye for detail and quality, you know what excellent service should look like
- Someone currently undergoing (or have recently completed) education in a hospitality school such as (but not limited to) Les Roches, Glion, SHMS, IMI, Cesar Ritz College, BHMS
- Someone with an excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Someone flexible, able to adapt to changing schedules (including weekends, night shifts and bank holidays) and demanding clients
- Someone who will fall in love with the brand and feel “at home”
