2022: Marbella’s Year of Music?

2022: Marbella’s Year of Music?

We may be biased but we think next year is going to be one of the best yet for Marbella with both Spanish and international artists of all genres.

With the forthcoming opening of the Marbella Arena complex, The Starlite Festival having further acts confirmed and a new music festival launching in La Cala de Mijas, 2022 could just be the year that Marbella went on the music lover’s map!

Here are the ones worth writing home about.

Genre: Electronic

Kraftwerk,  Cala Mijas Festival, 1-3 September 2022

Headlining the new music festival in La Cala de Mijas are the Arctic Monkeys who will bring in the crowds, but our top pick is Kraftwerk, the German band who are widely considered to be synonymous with the birth of the electronic music scene. Another electro-lover’s favourite is Hot Chip who are also playing here. We can’t wait.
