1. The Best Golf Course for Beginners in Marbella: El Paraiso Golf Club
Go gently! If you are just starting out or have a high handicap and you want an easier course try El Paraiso, which is also renowned for being one of the friendliest golf clubs on the coast.
2. The Golf Course with the Most Stunning views in Marbella: Marbella Club Golf Course
This was a tough decision, but arguably the Marbella Club golf course really stole the show for us with its incredible views, landscaped course with waterfalls and lakes all rounded off nicely with the hotel’s luxurious service.
3. The Most Challenging Golf Course in Marbella: The Marbella Golf and Country Club
At the Marbella Golf and Country Club, the first nine holes are played on the top of the hill which will keep even the most experienced golfer on their toes! The course has unusual hurdles like bunkers and water obstacles too, so no golfer will get bored here!
4. The Best Golf Course Outside of Marbella: Finca Cortesin
Finca Cortesin puts the Swish into golf, with its stylish manicured gardens, the golf course is surrounded by a world-class hotel and spa. The course itself has hosted many important championships and provides a beautiful yet challenging experience for those lucky enough to play there.
5. The Best Golf Course with over 18 holes: La Quinta
La Quinta offers one 18-hole course and another with 9 holes. This busy resort gives golfers plenty of choice and top-rate facilities including a Turkish bath! Find La Quinta nestled slightly away from the San Pedro and Marbella coastline, on the Ronda Road.
6. The Best Club House in Marbella: Santa Maria Golf and Country Club
The clubhouse at the Santa Maria Golf and Country Club is worth a visit in its own right. A two-storey Spanish country house surrounded by extensive gardens is sure to impress, that is, if the beautifully designed golf course only 200m from the beach doesn’t grab your attention.
7. The Best for “Golf Widows” in Marbella: Aloha Golf Club
A favourite of Swish clients with its proximity to the facilities of Nueva Andalucia, Aloha golf club is also a great club for those of us who don’t play. Their gym has many classes from Pilates to strength training and their club house and restaurant offer stylish places to eat and relax. Villa Aloha 171 is located on the course, and it’s ideally placed for several of our Swish properties.
8. Best Golf Club All Rounder: The Real Club Las Brisas Marbella
Las Brisas offers it all! Excellent courses and a prestigious club right in the heart of Marbella’s golf valley. With tremendous flora, fauna and landscaping, stylish restaurant and club facilities and outrageously charming views, it ticks all the boxes.
